Board Informational Meeting: Open to All

Would you like to join the PGP Board?

With our end-of-season membership meeting approaching, it’s time to start planning for the 2027 Season and our next Board of Directors.

After seven amazing years as President, Elizabeth Duffy has decided to pass the reins. Elizabeth began her term in 2020, when she skillfully navigated the pool through the COVID pandemic, and is ending her tenure with the magnificent pool renovation we’re all now enjoying. Thank you, Elizabeth, for your huge service to our pool.

Board elections will take place at the membership meeting on August 22nd at 2 pm.  

Helen Searls, our current Beautification Chair, has agreed to run for President, and her top priorities, if elected, will be to continue the core values of pool community, communications, and membership engagement.

With positions shuffling and several other board members departing, there will be several openings this year. We’d love to hear from anyone interested in running for the board, or in taking a leading role on one of our committees. We’re especially looking for people with an interest in technology, beautification, co-op hours management, committee management, communications, finance and accounting, facilities management, or member outreach. More than anything, we’re looking for people who care about the pool’s future and want to see our community grow and flourish.

We’ll also hold an open members’ information meeting to talk about the kind of board we’d like to see next season on August 19th at 6 pm. If you’re thinking about stepping up, or just curious how you could contribute to running the pool, please come along; we’d love to hear your ideas.
