• Entertainment, Concerts & Open Mike-nights—Our entertainment committee has once again put together an excellent package of live music and other entertainment for 2008. See tentative schedule below.
• Late Night Swims and Tent Nights
• An excellent party venue for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
The entertainment committee and teams food and beverage will be back in force this summer, bringing you live music at the Surge Pit After Dark(tm), great food by Chefs Dot and Karl as well as your favorite frosty beverages.
We will begin the summer with our annual Countdown to Splashdown potluck party on Saturday, May 17th from 4-8 pm. Please bring your friends and neighbors to this great event, featuring live music and fun activities. Our "formal" live music entertainment schedule will begin on Saturday, May 24th - opening weekend! (Please see the tentative schedule below.) We will then have live music and great food every other weekend throughout the summer, complemented by everyone's favorite: tent nights and late night swims. The Calvert House will fill in on the "quiet" Saturday evenings to provide sustenance to the grill-challenged among us.
Please e-mail Ken Carter at brewshi <at> yahoo.com if you would like to be part of team food or team beverage this summer. It is a great way to earn your co-op hours and make new friends.
