Hot Music and More at the Cool Pool
The 2009 special events calendar is taking shape, beginning with our annual Countdown to Splashdown potluck party on Saturday, May 16 from 4 – 8 pm. This first event of the season is open to current members, prospective members and friends. Following the Countdown party, we will have live music at the pool every other Saturday evening beginning May 23 and running through September 5. Team Food and Team Beverage will once again team up to provide great meals for a reasonable, musician-supporting, donation.
To volunteer for Team Food and Team Beverage, please e-mail Ken Carter at brewshi(at)yahoo.com. This is perhaps the most fun you will have earning your co-op hours short of skinny dipping on Making Waves™ night. (What, you can’t earn co-op hours for that?)
